Murder Keeps No Calendar is an excellent introduction to Cathy Ace’s work (Cait Morgan Mysteries and the WISE Enquiries Agency series) as well as offering some extra insights into her series for those who already know them…There are other stories too, unrelated to Cathy Ace’s series, which range from sad to blackly comic to romantic. There are tales of comeuppance and of justice miraculously mangled, of wives from Hell and wives who find themselves in Hell. If you want to sample crime writing from all angles, psychological, intellectual, fatalistic, light and dark, this book has them all. amazon reader
